₦1bn Electrification Initiative: Demola Andu Applauds Yayi, Foresees Economic Revival in Ogun Waterside

A United Kingdom-based indigene of Ibiade in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area of Ogun State, Mr. Demola Andu, popularly known as “The Bridge,” has lauded the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, over the proposed ₦1 billion electrification project for Ogun Waterside.

Andu described the planned intervention as a timely investment that would ease the persistent electricity challenges confronting communities in the riverine council area and lay the foundation for accelerated economic and social development.

Speaking on the development, he said the initiative underscores Senator Adeola’s resolve to deliver impactful projects that directly improve the lives of the people, noting that access to stable electricity remains vital to community growth and prosperity.

He expressed optimism that the project, expected to begin within the next 24 hours, would enhance business activities, improve healthcare services, promote quality education, and encourage investments by providing a more reliable power supply across the local government.

The philanthropist noted that the intervention would bring renewed hope to residents, stimulate local enterprise, create a more enabling environment for businesses, and improve the overall standard of living in Ogun Waterside.

He further maintained that Senator Adeola has continued to demonstrate dedication to the welfare and development of the people, expressing confidence that his administration would usher in inclusive and responsive governance if elected governor in 2027.

Andu also appealed to the people of Ogun Waterside and the wider Ogun electorate to support Senator Adeola, his running mate, and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress during the forthcoming elections.
